About the Event
Welcome to the Drawing Room
We are back after a break with a new season of life drawing sessions. This time our model is a former software professional turned Bharatnatyam dancer trained in Kalakshetra style. She has performed across numerous stage productions and also teaches at the dance institute, passing on the art tradition to the next generation.
Using dance as a gesture drawing exercise we will move beyond static figure drawing into rhythm, narrative and movement.The 3 hour session will be a mix of short and long poses focused on dynamic lines of action and strong silhouettes
